Alice in Wonderland Review

I went on a date with my wife Friday night and saw the new version of Alice in Wonderland. Actually, it wasn't a newer version but a sequel to the original. The plot is genius and executed fantastically. It is simple, Alison stumbles back into wonderland around 13 years after her original trip and doesn't remember a single thing. The character then try to remind her of her past adventures with them and guide her to her future purpose. If you are expecting happy, cheery, bright, joyous songs of a Very Unhappy Birthday, and cuteness you will not find it here. This film is dark, interesting, and witty with an eery flair to it. I would not say this film is for small children at all, but a great watch overall. As I watched I noticed spiritual implications all over the place. The big theme I saw, I won't tell all I saw because I would like to hear what you see in it, is that we all have a purpose and no one can fulfill our purpose that God has for us except us. God has a plan for each of us and he has given us the abilities to do what He wants us to do. It is all about finding out who you are. With that said, who are you? Do you know your purpose? What are you passionate about? I will leave you with those questions!
